Kyra Minton was born in the city of New York and is an American actress. Her fan base is large across America and around the world because of her character as an actress in the TV The Closer.' Sedgwick began to be attracted to performing art of the arts, Broadway, and acting when she turned 12 years old. Sedgwick got her first introduction to Broadway through her mother. Sedgwick's first role as an actor was with a TV series called 'Another World. The show was on when she was aged 16. Her initial TV appearances were not big, however she was much more attracted to becoming an established actor. In the movie "Born in July 4th", in which Tom Cruise also starred, she made headlines for the first time in a large screen. The success of Sedgwick in the film led to her getting roles in other movies such as 'Heart and Souls, "Phenomenon," and so on. When she was just 22 years old, she got married to the actor Kevin Bacon after working in the television series Lemon Sky. Sedgwick was a star on American television with her impressive performing. The Closer, which ran for seven seasons, was awarded many awards including The Golden Globe and Emmy.
